Most firms make you call just to learn what things cost. The numbers below aren't teasers — they're our actual fees, for anyone to read before they ever pick up the phone.

Reduced flat rates when everyone's in agreement; traditional representation when you need an attorney to negotiate and intervene on your behalf.

Uncontested Matters

Uncontested divorce, adoption & custodyFlat-rate services for all cases where you and all other parties are in agreement about the terms — or plan to work it out amongst yourselves.

Contested Matters

Payment planThe standard minimum plan to begin work on a case. Zero-interest, direct through our firm — no credit scores, credit cards, or buy-now-pay-later services.

All criminal defense is handled on a two-part flat fee: a pre-trial fee covering investigation, discovery review, and negotiation with the county or district attorney — and a separate trial fee only if you'd rather present your case to the judge or jury. (Dalworth Legal does not currently represent defendants in Class C misdemeanor cases.)

Misdemeanors — Pre-Trial / Trial

Class B misdemeanorPunishable by up to 180 days in jail and a fine of $2,000.

Class A misdemeanorPunishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of $4,000.

Felonies — Pre-Trial / Trial

State jail felonyUp to two years in state jail and a $10,000 fine; 180-day mandatory minimum.

Third degree felonyUp to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine; two-year mandatory minimum.

Second degree felonyUp to twenty years in prison and a $10,000 fine; two-year mandatory minimum.

Appellate case reviewWe review the record of your trial or plea deal; if there may be grounds for a successful appeal, pricing is discussed case-by-case.
